Sorting the Mail at the Nene Valley Railway...Around 30 members and their friends along with members of the Peterborough Historical Society and the Gauge 1 Society enjoyed an evening visit to the Nene Valley Railway on Monday 19th July. A special train was laid on, hauled by a Class 31 diesel loco coupled to the Mail train where several demonstations were made of mail being exchanged. Members were able to watch this from the trackside as well as inside the train.
